AUTHOR’S FOREWORD

Hit the Southern Wall

I am deeply honored and excited that my work, Assassin's Chronicle, has been able to be translated into English and given its chance to shine in the overseas markets. When I was young, I was deeply interested in the Western myths as well as films, so I wrote this book according to my understandings of the magic. However, there are differences between the two sides of the ocean in terms of cultures and customs, even including many different ideologies. I hope my readers can forgive this difference in expression. But if you take out these inconsistencies, and only focus on the storyline, I believe that this is a wonderful story. There’s a thrilling adventure for us to explore between the pages. Now let's begin our journey.

AUTHOR’S WORDS TO THE TRANSLATOR

Hi Translator, when I heard that my novel could be going to translated into English, I was truly happy. Exulted. However, when the editor asked what I should say to you, I felt slightly ashamed. My writing skills has its limits and in my novel, there might be parts that are expressed unclearly, maybe some typos, maybe some strange structures, all of these definitely will bring a lot of inconveniences and add to your work. I’d like to express my apology here for all of these troubles.
