Hi all, this is lordbluefire. I’m glad that Qidian International has invited me over for the translation of Ancient Godly Monarch.
All of you might know me already as I’ve been on the translation scene for over 1.5 years. Ancient Godly Monarch is a novel I finally picked after sourcing over a hundred books.
In this book, you can expect many hot-blooded scenes that boils your blood, well-written scenes of betrayal that makes you gasp in disbelief, and even the love and romance is extremely tastefully done to the extent sometimes even you feel your eyes getting wet with emotions.
This is a story of a young man with an extraordinary background but was placed in the care of an ordinary clan with the same surname with no one but an aged servant with him.
The start of this story draws me in completely, the self-destruction of his meridians and energy channels, the fiancée, the younger sister, the iron bond between the MC’s Clan, etc etc. These are all characters which plays an important role in his life. You might be surprised that these side characters would still appear in the future maybe around hundreds of chapters later. Each of them are well-developed and not brushed aside and forgotten. The fore-shadowing of events is done extraordinary well and there was a scene of ‘excellently-done’ betrayal in the book which would leave you gasping in denial when the truth is finally revealed. Like what Sherlock Holmes said before, “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.”
